Autumn
Wall Fountain
If you've ever taken a plane up in
autumn and looked down at the patchwork of fields, this wall fountain
will sing out to you. What they've done is take panels of
high-tech acrylic... they're bulletproof, almost literally, and
we color, stain, paint, and patina them on the reverse side with
metallic oxides, iridescent paints, and sophisticated stains.
The bottom of these fountains is a hand-made copper reservoir
that is hand-patinaed with heat. The backside of the acrylic
panel is painted and then sealed. The water flows down the front
and consequently never comes in contact with the painted image.
The sound of the water is magnificent! It's really a visual show
of the first degree. |
